United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith is the official women’s organization of The United Methodist Church—a community of women committed to growing in faith, serving others, and putting love into action. At Christ Church Indy UMC, United Women in Faith provides opportunities for women to connect, grow spiritually, and make a meaningful difference in our church, community, and world.
Who We Are
United Women in Faith is a sisterhood of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Women of all ages and backgrounds are invited to be part of this welcoming and faith-filled community.
Our Mission and Vision
The mission of United Women in Faith is to:
Connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities.
Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, United Women in Faith seeks to turn faith, hope, and love into action on behalf of women, children, and youth.
United Women in Faith meet the first Sunday of each month, at 3:00pm. If there is a change in location or meeting time, it is posted within the church bulletin or newsletter.
